How to complete Fortnite Quests in Season 2 of Chapter 5

The Fortnite quests continue to expand in both scope and size, with new sections of Elements quests already rolling out and further assignments on the way. In addition to those we also don't have long to wait for the next set of Cerberus' Snapshot Story quests, which will launch next week and won't require progress through the Oracle's or Aphrodite's existing challenges as they run completely separately from each other. On top of all that, there are still lots of separate tasks available to tackle in the standalone experiences of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival.

Don't overlook them, as they provide a significant amount of additional XP during Fortnite Season 2 to speed up your progress through the Battle Pass. Alongside the Snapshot storyline quests, you can take on Kickstart quests showcasing the fresh mechanics introduced this season, plus the retooled daily quests (Match), overall progress quests (Milestones), and classic Weekly quests that now arrive in a complete set instead of in sections.

The Week 6 quests involve destroying five Supply Drones at Hot Spots, so pay attention to which POIs are marked in yellow text on your map at the start of the match. You'll also need to deal 500 damage to opponents with a weapon that has modded Optics, and mod four Weapons at Mod Benches, so keep an eye (and ear) out for the flashing light and siren indicating one of the Weapons Bunkers is opening up during the course of the battle royale.

There are certain Fortnite quests that will get ticked off through natural gameplay and don't require attention, but we're here to help with the ones that need specific knowledge or actions to clear. Completing quests is a lot easier these days now we no longer rely on Fortnite characters to distribute them, so if you want to know what you need to do for that sweet XP boost, then check out the quests section of the main menu – or the pause menu – and you'll find them all clearly laid out, with the option to track your progress on a specific challenge. Keep completing quests and you'll earn massive amounts of XP across the entire Fortnite season so you can unlock fresh rewards – and who doesn't want that? Here's everything we know about the latest Fortnite quests.
